Spider-Girl #2 Bedeviled
Characters Spider-Girl/Mayday, Crazy Eight, Darkdevil, Peter, MJ, Uncle Phil Urich, Brad Miller, Moose Mansfield, Jimmy Yama, Courtney Duran, Coach Flash Thompson Story Summary Spider-Girl gets in an accidental fight with the villain named Crazy Eight. She is almost killed but manages to retreat. She then meets, for the first time, Darkdevil who utterly chastises her about being a so-so hero. He then invites her to prove herself at pier 87 that night. Peter and MJ begin to suspect that May is sneaking out to be a hero at night, but they keep chickening out of facing her about it. At school Jimmy Yama tries to ask May out but instead gets into a fight with Moose Mansfield. May stops the confrontation by locking Moose in his locker. May decides she must go to pier 87. She meets Crazy Eight again and battle ensues, May is victorious. Darkdevil shows up after the excitement is over and tells Mayday that her win this night was only luck and that she needs to get out of the super hero biz while she still can.
